Below is the median of the out-of-pocket figures, meaning what the clinic says remains after the Medicare rebate. Only treatments with at least four separately published figures on that same basis are shown.
The count below is fee schedules, not clinics. Several Australian groups run many sites off one fee schedule — City Fertility publishes one for eleven clinics — so counting each site separately would let one company’s prices look like a market. Repeated figures from the same operator are collapsed to one before any median is taken.

How to read these figures
- All of them are out of pocket after the Medicare rebate. Of the 150 figures captured, 111 are on that basis, 21 are clinic fees before any rebate and 18 are published without saying which. Only the first group is used here.
- A published fee is rarely the whole bill. Medicines, anaesthetist fees, day-surgery fees, embryo storage and add-ons are usually charged separately.
- Treatments where clinics’ published figures were found to describe different things — IUI, egg collection, genetic testing and embryo storage — are left out of this table rather than averaged into a misleading number. They still appear on each clinic’s own page, with that clinic’s wording and source.
- The 56 clinics not represented here mostly publish no fee table at all. That is a gap in what clinics publish, not a judgement about their prices.

The Australian accredited register lists 97 individual clinics, and outcomes are published per clinic, not per group. 79 of them publish a headline success rate; the rest report too few cycles for one, which is not the same as a poor result. 41 publish a readable fee table on their own website and are marked below; no price is ever inferred for a clinic from its group.
