Wegovy (semaglutide 2.4mg) is escalated over 16 weeks: 0.25mg → 0.5mg → 1mg → 1.7mg → 2.4mg under prescriber guidance. The 2.4mg dose is the licensed maintenance dose for weight management. Some patients tolerate a lower dose long-term; the decision is clinical.
